1. Regular dead-heading is important (the removing of finished
flowers)
This
will encourage the growth of new flower buds.
2. Use a balanced liquid fertiliser such
as Miracle-Gro on a weekly basis to induce growth.
3. When foliage growth is satisfactory Use potassium rich materials, such as tomato feed to promote flowering. Do this a couple of times a week.
4. Drying out is an increasing risk as the foliage lengthens and days become warmer. Water first thing in the morning . Do this in the evening as an alternative. Just because it rained the night before does not necessary mean the basket is moist. If in doubt, check it.
